As a participant in a recommended Ultrasound Guided Transperineal Prostate Implant training course, your prostate implant team is eligible to receive pre-implant dose plans, coutesy of SeeDOS Ltd as prepared by the experienced team at the designated training centre. This service is designed to assist you in achieving the best possible results right from the start of prostate brachytherapy treatments at your centre.

To use this service simply follow the pre plan protocol and complete the dose planning service forms provided by SeeDOS and send a copy of the pre implant pre plan ultrasound scans to the designated training centre at the address at the top of the form provided ( and a copy of the form to SeeDOS ). This ensures that the dose planning receives immediate attention. Your pre plan ultrasound scans will be reviewed by the team who have extensive experience of dose planning for this technique and a dose plan produced. Comments will be included on both the ultrasound scans and the dose plan to assist you in improving your pre plan technique, if necessary.

The dose plan will include all details of implant needle configurations and seed loading for that particular patient and will be returned to you as soon as possible, normally within one week. The dose plans provided can be used as verification plans for your own dose planning or as an alternative dose planning service. Either way , they will help you ensure that you are producing the best quality implants.
