Daily QA CHECK, SeeDOS Code 1092

The DAILY QA CHECK™  is a PC based data collection and retrieval system, equipped with a comprehensive database management engine. Data collection is automated and guaranteed to be the easiest, most therapist friendly system available. Accepted data is written to the trend-analysis database, where it is available for review at any time. Simple “three step” therapist operation and quick analysis with trend identification make the DAILY QA CHECK™ hard to beat on any level.

Applications
Use the DAILY QA CHECK™ for Daily QA applications where there is a need to track Axial Symmetry, Transverse Symmetry, Flatness, Dose, and Energy.

Physical Description
The DAILY QA CHECK™ uses six 0.6cc ionization chambers to gather dose data needed for daily beam constancy checks. A single power/data cable connects the all-in-one design to a PC, which is the sole interface and storage device for the DAILY QA CHECK™. All DAILY QA CHECK™’s include a gantry attachment and Windows PC software.

Guaranteed Easiest Interface available - Therapist Friendly – Only 3 steps to acquire data. The DAILY QA CHECK™ uses an automated routine to collect beam data. Simply follow three steps:

  • Choose the machine you are evaluating by clicking on it with the mouse. (For centres with more than one machine)

  • Click the START button. (Once start is initiated, administer treatment plan.)

  • ACCEPT your results when the plan is complete. (This writes the data to the included database)

When there are multiple energy tests, clicking ACCEPT will start a new measurement for the next energy.

Data Storage is automatic
Accepted data is automatically saved to the Trend-Analysis database. This data is viewable as a time-line, compared against allowed tolerances. This allows for easy identification of anomalous long-term trends. Any portion of data is scaleable to a desired view. Individual days are viewable for deviation from the benchmark. Parameters tracked are: Dose, Axial Symmetry, Transverse Symmetry, QA Flatness, and Energy.

T & P Corrections are automatically applied
The DAILY QA CHECK™ uses vented ionization chambers because they are more reliable than sealed chambers. Because they are vented, Temperature and Pressure variations can influence the reading. To solve this phenomenon, the DAILY QA CHECK™ has a built in thermometer and barometer to measure and correct for these atmospheric changes.
