The P.S.S. Prostate Seeding Sets are high quality, disposable needles used to facilitate transperineal, radioactive seed implant procedures.
Each needle has an exceptionally sharp point for easy insertion and
an
echogenic tip for easy visualisation under ultrasound guidance.
FEATURES INCLUDE:

Centimetre and one-half centimetre markings on the outer cannula
serve as reference points during needle manipulation.

One-half centimetre wide marks on the inner stylet, one half
centimetre apart, indicate the number of seeds in the needle
after loading, whether you use free seeds/spacers or strands
(including RAPID Strand).

Three needle styles are available: 5005 provides a more rigid
needle cannula and better "trackability" 5006 and 5007 are more
flexible needles and provide better "steerability".

5005 and 5007 needles are compatible with the Indigo EXPRESS
Seeding Cartridge.

The needles have a blue flash on the funnel end to facilitate
steering the needle tip to the appropriate crosswire grid reference
point.

A funnel at the end of the needles allows easy loading of seeds or
strands.
